Expand description

Checks the CREATE and ALTER statements of a CDC source connector.

Provided Methods§

Source

fn check_format_encode( format: PbFormatType, encode: PbEncodeType, ) -> ConnectorResult<()>

Checks the FORMAT ... ENCODE ... clause of a CREATE statement.

Source

fn check_include_column(additional_column_type: &str) -> ConnectorResult<()>

Checks an additional column type in the INCLUDE clause of a CREATE statement, such as timestamp in INCLUDE timestamp AS ts.

Source

fn check_and_fill_create_with_options( props: &mut BTreeMap<String, String>, ) -> ConnectorResult<()>

Checks the WITH (...) options of a CREATE statement, and fills in the options that the CDC source generates when they are omitted, such as a random slot.name for Postgres. The connector node later renders the filled options into the Debezium config through the .properties template of the CDC source. An override calls check_common_with_options first.

Source

fn check_license() -> Result<(), FeatureNotAvailable>

Checks that the license allows the CDC source.

Source

fn check_alter_with_options( props: &BTreeMap<String, String>, _secret_refs: &BTreeMap<String, PbSecretRef>, ) -> ConnectorResult<()>

Checks that ALTER SOURCE ... CONNECTOR WITH (...) only changes options that a running CDC source can apply. An override calls check_common_with_options first.

Dyn Compatibility§

This trait is not dyn compatible.

In older versions of Rust, dyn compatibility was called "object safety".
